Climate Change Song (What have we done?)

Climate Change Song (What have we done?)

Fusing art and journalism to bring out key messages about climate change. The song, mainly shot in Baringo County in Kenya’s Rift Valley explains how climate change is affecting livelihoods, environment, and the entire ecosystem. But we also realize that we can change. If we do the right thing, we can make the earth a better place. Indeed, climate change is real.

Bloomberg Green: How Music and Movies Can Fight Climate Change

Lights, camera… climate action. We focus in on how the entertainment industry is trying to make itself – and the world – more sustainable. We hear from Adam Gardner, co-director of Reverb and guitarist from the band Guster about what musicians can do to make touring and concerts more sustainable for artists and fans alike. Carys Taylor, the director of BAFTA’s Albert tells us what changes film and TV need to make on the road to carbon-neutral. Plus, we dive into documentaries, taking a look at the life of famed oceanographer and environmentalist Jacques Cousteau, as well as hearing from Eva Orner the director of the film ‘Burning’ about the catastrophic Australian wildfires.

Guster – “Look Alive” Playlist

The sun came up, the world began to shake
Fault lines exposing all my own mistakes

If I could do anything
Then this wouldn't be happening
It’s been a long time
Since I’ve felt courageous

Stand up, stand up, stand up, stand up
Walking in my sleep never to awaken
Be love, be love, be love, be love
Look alive

Should watch what I say
There’s power in my refrains
Most of these days
Been pumping on the brakes

If we could do anything
Then this wouldn't be happening
If we’re strong for once
It could get contagious

Stand up, stand up, stand up, stand up
Walking in my sleep never to awaken
Be love, be love, be love, be love
Look alive

Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up
Dancing in the dark with old hallucinations
Be love, be love, be love, be love
Look alive

The hero enters the frame
He’s memorized his lines
In hollow words from the front of the stage
Echo for miles and miles and miles and miles

Stand up, stand up, stand up, stand up
Walking in my sleep never to awaken
Be love, be love, be love, be love
Look alive

Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up
Dancing in the dark with old hallucinations
Be love, be love, be love, be love
Look alive
